Authors directly submit their entries via this form, including publications, availability for programs and workshops, and contact information. Easily searchable and updated, the directory will grow and become more valuable with each entry.

Bio: Mike Turner is a songwriter and poet living on the Alabama Gulf Coast. He was named Male Gospel Entertainer of the Year by both the Alabama Music Association (2016) and the North America Country Music Associations International (2017), and featured on the “15 Minutes of Fame Stage” at the 2020 Monroeville Literary Festival. Mike’s songs have received airplay in the US, UK, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and on the US Armed Forces Radio Network. He has had more than 295 poems published in …Read More journals and anthologies; his poem, “Sense of Peace,” was awarded the 2023 Roger Williams Peace Prize by the Alabama Writers’ Cooperative. Mike was named “Poet of the Week” by the University of South Alabama’s Art Galleries in April 2021. His poetry collection, “Visions and Memories,” was published by Sweetycat Press in 2021.
