Bio: Tim Lockette grew up in the Angel community, west of Jacksonville. He has spent most of his career writing for newspapers and magazines, including The Anniston Star, The Gadsden Times, The Gainesville (Fla.) Sun and the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Teaching Tolerance. He has written three novels for young adults.
