A Year in Verse: A Celebration of Salaam Green’s Inaugural Year as Birmingham’s Poet Laureate. This free event will take place Tuesday, April 29, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Birmingham Public Library Central Branch. The evening will include a conversation with Salaam about her latest book, The Other Revival, exciting updates on the 2025 Poet Laureate programs, and a special birthday celebration for Salaam—complete with cake!
