Department of English at the University of Alabama Professors Kwoya Fagin Maples and Joel Brouwer both published new collections this past spring, and U of A would like to promote their MFA program by hosting a reading. If you know anyone (a student, a friend in town, etc.) who is curious about our creative writing program and would like to hear two MFA faculty read their work, please invite them to join us on Tuesday, October 13 at 7 pm in Gorgas Library’s Camellia Room to hear them read poetry from their newest collections!

Arrive a few minutes early (6:45pm) for light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public, and if you teach undergraduate classes, I hope you will encourage them to attend!
