Matt Kessler, a journalist with The Guardian, is our bookstore guest on Thursday, October 15 at 5:30pm with his new book, The Wiregrass. Set in 1999 Ozark, Alabama, the work tracks the true-crime murder of two teens, uncovering a forgotten corner of the Deep South and the chilling web of police corruption, violence, and miscarried justice beneath its surface. The book is captivating and richly reported.
