The first Third Thursday reading of the 2025-26 season will be August 28 at Pebble Hill in Auburn and will feature three local writers: Justin Gardiner, Steve Harrison, and Ash Parsons. Reception and book sales begin at 6 p.m. Readings begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Third Thursday Literary Series is sponsored by the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Department of English and Southern Humanities Review in the College of liberal Arts at Auburn University, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University, and the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
All readings are free and open to the public.
