Authors directly submit their entries via this form, including publications, availability for programs and workshops, and contact information. Easily searchable and updated, the directory will grow and become more valuable with each entry.

Bio: Shatara S. Clark, a native of Cuba, Alabama, is an accomplished educator, prolific author, and community leader. Graduating in 2008 from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications, she later earned a Master’s in Education from Auburn University Montgomery. With a decade of teaching experience, Shatara is a six-time author, founder of TyWrites, LLC, and co-host of the Better Together Book Tour. Recognized for her outstanding leadership, she co-created the Distinguished …Read More Authors of Alabama Award and serves as a Grant Evaluator nationally. As the owner of TyTalks, a nonprofit empowering women, Shatara is dedicated to community service, with accolades including Teacher of the Quarter and the Vance Law Firm Pay it Forward Award. Her commitment extends to initiatives like Reading Around the River Region, promoting literacy in local schools. Shatara’s dynamic contributions highlight her passion for education, literature, and community impact.
