Bio:

A historian by training, I am the author of MOVE: An American Religion, as well as a number of essays, articles, and reviews in the fields of American History and Religious Studies. I am particularly interested in the cultural history of the American South and the history of religion. I also serve as the executive director of the Alabama Writers’ Forum.
