Former Alabama Writers’ Forum executive director Jeanie Thompson will lead the author in conversation about Untethered, her new novel, set in Troy, Alabama. It’s a dramatic and emotionally engrossing story about a Black woman and the burdens she shoulders, for herself and family, during the Vietnam War. Jackson-Brown is a novelist to watch!
