We will remember how to find the value in the voice and the life that give these poems ongoing importance. \n10:40 – 11:10 AM \nReadings by Book of the Year and Poet of the Year winners: Nancy Owen Nelson and Roger Carlisle \n11:15 AM– 12:15 PM \nWorkshop with Joseph Woods\, Poet Laureate of Knoxville\, TN: \nWriting tips to strengthen your work\, awareness of audience\, tips on presentation and memorization for those who are interested in public events. \n12:15 – 1 PM: Lunch \n1 –??: Fall 2023 ASPS Contest awards presentation and reading of winning poems.
