DESCRIPTION:Sabrina Orah Mark is the author of the poetry collections The Babies and Tsim Tsum. Wild Milk\, her first book of fiction\, was published by Dorothy\, a publishing project. Happily\, which began as a monthly column on fairytales and motherhood in The Paris Review\, was published by Random House in 2023 and won a Jewish Book Award.  She has received fellowships from the Creative Capital Foundation\, the National Endowment for the Arts\, the Sustainable Arts Foundation\, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown\, Massachusetts\, and MacDowell.  In addition to teaching private workshops she currently teaches nonfiction\, fiction\, and poetry for the Bennington Writing Seminars. \nThe Third Thursday Literary Series is sponsored by the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities\, Department of English\, and Southern Humanities Review in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University; the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University; and the Alabama State Council on the Arts. \nRefreshments will be available at 6 PM; the reading will begin at 6:30 PM.
