DESCRIPTION:Novelist Annie Hartnett will give a fiction reading followed by a book signing and reception on April 4\, 2024\, at 6:00 p.m. in Student Center Terrace Room at the University of South Alabama. Hartnett is the author of the novels Rabbit Cake (Tin House Books) and Unlikely Animals (Ballantine/Random House)\, listed as one of the best books of 2022 by the Washington Post and BookRiot and long-listed for the Joyce Carol Oates Prize. Hartnett has been awarded fellowships and residencies from the MacDowell Colony\, Sewanee Writers’ Conference\, and the Associates of the Boston Public Library.
