Bio: Foster Dickson is a writer, editor, and teacher in Montgomery, Alabama, a city long billed as “the Cradle of the Confederacy and the Birthplace of Civil Rights.” Living in the Heart of Dixie, Dickson writes from the perspective of a person whose life cannot be separated from the history of the Deep South.
