Bio: Alan Samry is a writer, librarian, and public historian. He is the author of Mapping Fairhope, Clay City Tile, and Stump the Librarian, a memoir and history of leg amputees. He is co-author and co-photographer with Gabriel Gold-Vukson of Fairhope: Past & Present.
