Authors directly submit their entries via this form, including publications, availability for programs and workshops, and contact information. Easily searchable and updated, the directory will grow and become more valuable with each entry.

About Aubrey Hill

Bio: Aubrey Hill was born and raised in Yazoo City, Mississippi, on the eastern edge of The Delta, where he roamed the woods and hunted for many years. He has worked as a carpenter’s helper, fish farmer, land surveyor, seismic oil explorer, microbiologist, chemist, computer programmer and a knowledge engineer in the artificial intelligence group of a major telecommunications company. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in microbiology from Mississippi State University, a M.S. in computer science from Jackson …Read More State University in Jackson, Mississippi , and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he later became director of the bioinformatics shared facility, taught bioinformatics and collaborated with researchers in the school of medicine. He also studied at the University of Texas at Austin and the Northwestern School of Taxidermy. He and his wife live in Birmingham, Alabama with their five elderly cats.
