Bio: My name is Shamicka Toney. I’m a corporate professional, two-time International Impact Book Award-winning author, and an inspirational speaker who believes in the power of “What if.” My mission is to inspire everyone to tap into their inner drive and reach the next level.
As a fun-loving, compassionate woman of faith, I’ve always strived to live life out loud. Married for 23 years, my wonderful husband and I have been blessed enough to have raised three incredible young men.
My writing journey …Read More began in 2000 with a poem. That has lead to a series of dramatic, faith-based romance novels featuring relatable issues and imperfect characters. My first novel, Discovering the Covering, has been written into a screenplay.
I’ve created a fun and encouraging children’s series featuring Jamison the Fly, who proves that anyone can be a hero! Media features include Good Day Chicago, the Ultimate Chicago Women’s Expo, the Atlanta Women’s Expo, Barnes & Noble, and the Aurora Buzz.
